We took Koop to Critter Fest at the Science Spectrum on Friday. He loved everything there, well he was scared of the snakes, but i can't blame him!! chett & koop feeding a calf feeding the camel
Our garden is in full swing!! The corn is about chest high, the jalapenos are blooming, the watermelon and cantaloupe vines are spreading, the green beans are producing, the squash are blooming, and the zucchini are making!! Here is a picture of our first 2 zucchini!! I am so excited, and all our hard work has paid off!! Now lets hope they taste good!!
I enrolled Kooper in swimming lessons last Tuesday, he went to his first class on Tuesday afternoon. At first he was having a great time, about 30 mins into the 'lesson' he started freaking out. Lets just say I was very concerned about all the children's safety at this pool!! I called and talked to the owner the next day about my concerns and he agreed to refund my money!! Now, Kooper is terrified of the water!! So hopefully the more he goes to the pool this summer, the more comfortable he will be!! When i took him swimming the next day he asked me, 'Mama, are we going to the scary pool?' It broke my heart!! But he's a trooper and will get over it soon, I hope!!
Our garden is doing GREAT! I'm so excited!! It has been a lot of work but well worth it!! The jalapenos and bell peppers have finally started to sprout too!!
We all went fishing on Friday afternoon at one of the playa lakes in Lubbock!! Chett & I were both amazed at how far Kooper could cast his line. All he was intrested in was casting and reeling it in! No one caught anything, but we all had a good time!! kooper waiting on a bite! Chett & Luci just fishing!
Our garden is doing great!! Everything is sprouting, the jalapenos & bell peppers are barely breaking the ground!! Chett & I pulled grass out of the rows for about 3 hours this afternoon!! It's hard work but hopefully it will pay off!! green beans, strawberries, watermelon & cantaloupe zucchini, squash, & green beans
